Our patients Marilia and Paulina have made excellent recoveries from their heart procedures last week and are preparing to return to Timor-Leste today. Our volunteer cardiologist Dr Simon Eggleton enjoyed a final pizza meal with our patients and their companion, health support worker Ima from our partner Maluk Timor. Sincere thanks to Ima for her dedication in supporting Marilia and Paulina, and also Dr Eggleton and our partners Eastern Heart Clinic and Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Sydney.
